About Suhani

Attorney Suhani Sookoo is a consultant with LaSusa & Deb, PLLC. Suhani specializes in real estate matters, including landlord-tenant disputes and evictions, and has over 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, federal government work, and complex litigation discovery review.

Suhani’s previous experience includes working for a mortgage servicing and debt collection agency specializing in residential foreclosures. She has also worked as an attorney for the US Small Business Administration’s Disaster Assistance Office, assisting disaster victims with home and business loans.

In 2013, Suhani moved to litigation discovery review with exposure to antitrust litigation, DOJ investigations, financial audits, labor and employment law, and more. She also has significant AML/BSA regulatory compliance experience as a consultant.
