About Mishty

Mishty is a talented Dallas attorney who has worked extensively in the governmental, non-profit, and private sectors. She has a strong academic background as a President Scholar from SMU. During her studies, she focused on economics, international trade, corporate governance, geology, and alternative energy, giving her a excellent academic foundation. She also studied marine ecology and policy at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. After graduating with dual degrees in economics & environmental science, Mishty pursued her law degree from the University of Texas. While at UT, she was an editorial board member for Texas International Law Journal and for Texas Journal of Women & the Law.

Upon graduation Mishty was admitted to the Texas bar and began working for the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) as in-house counsel specializing in small business loans and complex real estate title issues. In 2008 she moved to private law practice at R. L. Marsh & Associates, where she worked in the field of Energy & Natural Resource law specializing in Oil & Gas Attorney Opinions. Mishty has since worked for small & large businesses as well as non-profits, entrepreneurs, and private land owners.

As a strong leader, she has a talent for forging solid alliances with strategic partners while establishing consensuses across multiple levels. Mishty’s primary focus is to provide practical counsel that helps transform long-term business goals into reality while addressing daily operational challenges. She has also published several law review articles with her unique ability to draft innovative and persuasive arguments.
