Rohitendra Chandra Deb, India Associate
Rohit has been involved in civil & commercial litigation including partition suits, testamentary cases, property cases, contract disputes, civil arbitrations, intellectual property cases and corporate cases. He started his practise in the Calcutta High Court advising in Counsel’s Chambers and he has also appeared in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and District Courts. Currently specializing in boutique practice for LaSusa & Deb, PLLC as local India Counsel in matters of estate planning, tax, property sales and acquisitions, as well as commercial structures and disputes.

Troy D. Nelson, Of Counsel
Troy is a Consulting Attorney with LaSusa & Deb, PLLC, who oversees our civil litigation, tax, and supervises our international tax and bookkeeping practice. Troy specializes in tax, financial, and litigation matters, and has over 25 years of experience in federal and state government tax and environmental work, international tax planning or compliance and complex litigation.
Troy’s previous experience includes: successfully litigating and resolving several complex legal matters, winning or mitigating cases in favor of his clients in both Federal and State courts. Troy has successfully represented cases in multi-jurisdictional corporate litigation cases, representing clients on international tax and transactional matters, and representing clients in personal and business litigation cases.
Gitanjali “Mishty” Deb, Managing Member
Attorney Mishty Deb is a co-founding partner with LaSusa & Deb, PLLC. Mishty oversees our India practice, corporate formation and complex corporate structure/transactions practice, estate planning, trusts, and the non-profit practice areas. Mishty has worked extensively in the governmental, nonprofit, and private sectors throughout her career.
In 2005, Mishty received her law degree from the University of Texas where she served as an editorial board member for both the Texas International Law Journal and the Texas Journal of Women & the Law.
Mishty’s primary focus is to provide practical counsel that helps transform long-term business goals into reality while addressing daily operational challenges. She has handled numerous cases for businesses of all sizes as well as for non-profits, entrepreneurs, and private landowners.
She holds a Nonprofit Marketing Certificate from CNM and is the CEO and Founder of the Sharks in Heels Workshop Series. In her spare time, she loves to travel the world and has been on several adventures from Africa to Antarctica.
